Players, Coaches, and Managers:
Approved roster moves and pick up players will be posted on this website. If a player is not posted then there is a very good chance the player is illegal.
Important: IN ORDER TO RECEIVE NATIONAL POINTS YOUR ROSTER MUST BE ON THE NATIONAL WEBSITE (ISTS).
Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate ejection from the tournament in progress and may result in suspensions within USSSA.
“When a team qualifies for a State, National or World tournament, the team roster will be frozen. A team manager may release or add up to six (6) players provided such releases or additions are made prior to August 1st (Except Military, Church, Masters, and Mixed). This rule is in effect whether the team accepts or declines a berth. The team manager will be allowed to add only six (6) players to the qualified team's roster. One of the six (6) players must be added prior to July 1st, one must be added prior to August 1st, and one must be added prior to September 1st."
ROSTER ADDITIONS:
Once your teams' original roster has been entered on the ISTS site and approved, the roster will be locked and all roster additions/deletions will need to be approved by the program director or assistant director. Any additions or deletions to rosters after approval will then need to be done on the National ISTS website by the program director.
To add a player with a USSSA record, email kathy.jones@usssa.com with their Full Name/DOB/Email/Phone #.

PICK UP PLAYER RULE:
Any team that needs to pick up a player may do so as long as the player comes from a team of equal classification or lower.
A team may pick up 3 players for any given weekend – (any combination of pick up players or roster additions adding up to 3) more than 3 players would make you a pickup team and you would need to re-register as a pickup team. This is used for the sole purpose so they can field a team for any given weekend and will be allowed to do so by obtaining permission from the Women's Program Director or Assistant Program Director.
If a 'pick-up' player is kept for more than one tournament without returning to her original team, she will not be allowed to go back down in classification. This needs to be done no later than Thursday by 6:00 PM prior to an event, and all permissions will be posted on the Women's Message Board (scroll down on this page!) for the weekend in question. This rule is subject to the National By-Laws when being used in an NIT.
For Qualifiers and NIT's – you will need to have a copy of the “APPROVED PICKUP” email which must be attached to the roster at the tournament – without this document the player will not be eligible to play. This is for Washington/Oregon NIT’s only – any other will require a roster move.
For Major NIT's, State, National and World Tourney’s ONLY roster moves (NO pickup players) are allowed. And will be subject to the National By-Laws. Teams are allowed 3 pickups (or any combination of roster adds or pickups) for any given tournament. They must come from an equal or lower classification unless approved by the Women's Classification Committee and State Director. EXCEPTION: REC TEAMS MAY PICKUP "E" PLAYERS
Cut off for any changes to rosters is THURSDAY at 6:00 p.m. prior to the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you know you are having an issue get a hold of me well in advance so I can help you. Don't wait until it is too late.
Any and all roster moves and/or pick up players must be approved by emailing the Women's Program Director at kathy.jones@usssa.com.
If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you.
