1. Time Limit: No New Inning After 65 Minutes.
2. Batting: Teams may bat up to 12 players.
3. Bases: - 70' base paths will be used.
4. Home Runs: - Do not have to run home runs out (over the fence home runs).
5.Floating rubber: - Pitching rule is now 6' maximum behind the pitching rubber. (National Rule).
6.Illegal/Altered Bat: If a batter hits the ball with an illegal or altered bat, the batter may be suspended from further USSSA play.
7. Dugout Rule: Only players listed on the official roster are allowed in the dugout and/or bench area. All players/coaches must be in the dugout and/or bench area, only exceptions are the next to bat in the on deck batters box and the two base coaches. If the umpire has to stop the game because players are out of the dugout, he will warn the coach then start ejecting players.
8. PICKUP RULE: Teams may pick up players from the same classification or lower for any given tournament - they will be allowed a maximum of three (3) pickups (a combination of pickups and/or roster additions which total to three (3) - anymore would make this team a PICKUP TEAM (which must re-register as a PICKUP TEAM for that tournament) - that may compete in the tournament and win - but will not receive any points or berths awarded. - Exception: The REC DIVISION will be allowed to pick up a maximum of 2 'E' players - the rest of the rule will remain as posted.
9. CLASSIFICATION: A team must have 6 or more players returning from the previous year to maintain its classification.
10.ROSTER MODIFICATIONS: All roster modifications must be submitted to the Program Director or Assistant Program Director for approval prior to adding any players to the team’s roster - failure to do this will make that player ineligible until approved - any player that wants to change teams must have both coaches approval.
NOTE: After a team submits its original roster, the roster will be locked by the Program Director. Rosters must be filled out as annotated on the Drivers License (DL).
CLASSIFICATION AND HOME RUN LIMIT RULES :
1.The program will be made of teams classified as ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’, and REC.
2.Class 'A' teams are allowed unlimited home runs per team per game.
3.Class 'B' teams are allowed unlimited home runs per team per game.
4.Class ‘C’ teams are allowed three home runs per team per game.
5.Class ‘D’ teams are allowed no home runs allowed.
6.Class ‘E’ & REC teams, no home runs allowed.
